Terms and conditions

1. General

  • By making a booking with Kedar Hill Resort, guests agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

  • The resort reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time.

2. Reservations & Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • A minimum 50% advance payment is required to confirm a reservation.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at check-in.

  • Accepted payment methods: UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfer, or Cash.

3. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in time: 01:00 PM onwards.

  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM.

  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking (if check-in is more than 7 days away).

  • Cancellations made 7 days before arrival: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival: No refund.

  • No-show bookings will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

5. Group Bookings

  • Group bookings for more than 10 rooms or 20 guests must be confirmed at least 30 days in advance.

  • Special terms and deposits may apply for group stays.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are responsible for their belongings. The resort is not liable for loss/theft of valuables.

  • Any damage to property (rooms, furniture, fixtures) caused by the guest will be charged at replacement/repair cost.

  • Loud music and parties are not permitted after 10:30 PM, in compliance with local regulations.

7. Resort Policies

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms. Designated smoking areas are available.

  • Outside food & alcohol may be restricted — please check with management.

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • The resort is not responsible for:

    • Injuries or accidents during activities such as trekking, rafting, or outdoor adventures.

    • Natural disruptions (rain, landslides, power outages) beyond our control.

  • Guests are advised to have personal travel insurance.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Guest data (name, email, phone number) will only be used for booking and communication purposes.

  • We do not share personal information with third parties, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India (Uttarakhand jurisdiction).

  • Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Uttarakhand.
